1. Students who wish to apply for a master’s degree must normally have high undergraduate grades 65%+,
2. GRE score of at least 285 and an IELTS score of at least 6 overall bands.
3. GMAT scores are required for those interested in an MBA, ideally 500 +.
4. Students who are applying for undergraduate degrees often need to have strong scores on the SAT 1200+, +2/Intermediate 65% + and IELTS with a total of 6 bands.
Global Students may apply at US universities in two main intakes: the spring intake (in January) and the autumn intake (in August). Few universities while, offer a Summer (May) Intake. Numerous courses are available in all three intakes. Prior to the start of the semester, students should acquire all required documentation and begin the application process for US universities.
The deadlines for each intake vary, therefore it’s best to apply for the August intake 6–8 months before the deadline. Applying 5 to 6 months before the deadline is advised for the January intake.
Bachelor’s degrees usually last 4 years, while master’s degrees usually last 2 years. Although some programmes, like the MS in engineering and computer science, may require up to 3 years to finish. In the United States, PhD and research programmes last 4-6 years.
